Cumberlands Golf Outing and Golf Team Reunion

As part of Homecoming week University of the Cumberlands is hosting the fourth annual Cumberland Golf Outing and Golf Team Reunion on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009 at 12 p.m.

The outing will take place at the Crooked Creek Golf Community in London, Ky. Interested participants must RSVP by Sept. 30 and pay an entry fee of $5o. This fee covers green fee, cart and lunch.

Former UC golf coach Bill Sergent, who is now the Director of Golf at Crooked Creek, said the outing is planned to be a scramble. However, depending on the number of participants the even will switch to match play.

"The event is targeted towards Cumberland Alumni golfers," says current UC coach Chris Kraftick. "But if others are interested we will certainly not turn them down."

Sergent said, "This is the fourth year we have held this event and we expect this year to be equally successful."
